Mental Conditioning for Intense Focus in Baseball - Take 2

Those of you who attended our January 18th webinar "Mental Conditioning for Intense Focus in Baseball" know that we ran into some technical problems that prevented us from completing the webinar. It is never desirable to cancel an event halfway through and as someone who was involved in the planning and organization of the webinar, I have to admit, it was pretty stressful for me because of the large number of attendees. Then, I watched the Superbowl this past weekend and realized that in terms of technical glitches, there can be much bigger ones than the one we experienced on the 18th!

Once again, thanks to Dr. Sime and Dr. Strack and all the attendees of the webinar for their patience, kind words and understanding. The new date for the webinar is:

Mental Conditioning for Intense Focus in Baseball
Presenters: Dr. Wes Sime and Dr. Ben Strack
Special Guest: Sean Casey
Date: February 8, 2013
Time: 12:00 - 1:00 pm Eastern Time (US & Canada)

Yes, you read correctly, we will have a special guest on Friday! Former major league player Sean Casey will be dropping in on the event and will speak about his personal experience training with biofeedback and how he was able to maintain focus, find the zone and ultimately improve his game.

Oh, and if anyone knows either of the Harbaugh's or members of the Raven's or 49ers coaching staffs, please invite them to this event. Even though the main focus of the webinar is on baseball rather than football, so much of what Ben and Wes teach can be applied to all sports. Mental preparation is key, because as we saw this past Sunday, sometimes distractions can come right out of left field.

If you would like to attend the event, please send us a message at blueprobaseball@gmail.com.

Looking forward to seeing you there,

Carol Meyers
